It has been nearly eighteen months that I have been coming to this construction site in Kfar-Saba.
The building was built by Palestinian construction workers, illegal aliens from the West Bank, who cross the border without valid passage certificates and stay in Israel without permits to work for a living.
They are forced to live here, hiding in the building they are currently constructing, and leave to visit their homes no more than once a month (even if their home is no more than a 15 minutes drive from their location).
I used large (4” x 5”) and medium (6 x 6) formats and at the same time left a small digital camera at the site, for the use of the workers themselves.
